Short Bio or Introduction
Enlighten Me was born in response to a growing frustration with traditional research - too often, it felt extractive, surface-level, or disconnected from the realities of decision-making. We believe research should do more than inform. It should support action, shape strategy, and help create outcomes that are equitable, lasting, and meaningful.

We work across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia, and we recognise the importance of engaging with Indigenous peoples in the places we operate. In New Zealand, our work is grounded in the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. In Australia, we respect and acknowledge the sovereignty and enduring connection that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples have to Country. Wherever we work, we seek to reflect local context, culture, and values, and we engage with local partners to ensure cultural relevance and integrity.

Our methods are evidence-based and people-centred. Whether we’re helping you evaluate a service, understand community sentiment, or prioritise change, our goal is the same: to equip you with insights you can trust, and decisions you can stand behind.
