MC - Geoff DolanGEOFFREY DOLAN Geoffrey’s first professional job was in 1982 and he went full-time professionally in 1985. Since then, he has worked around the country at all of the professional theatres of New Zealand. Several TV guest role appearances happened in these early days also, before being offered his first core cast role of “Warren” in the TV adaption of Roger Hall’s successful stage shows, “The Share Club” and “After The Crash”, called “Neighbourhood Watch”. Other roles ensued and after moving to Auckland in 1994 Geoffrey made regular guest and starring roles in the likes of Lawless 1, 2 and 3, Xena, Hercules, Mercy Peak and now more recently Outrageous Fortune, Westside and his favourite role as Derrick/Thor in The Almighty Johnsons. He has also had an ongoing association with Power Rangers, an American production filmed here since 2002, primarily as a Voice Actor portraying the voices of some leading baddies, as well as the Power Rangers Mentor, Gosei in Mega Force and Super Mega Force. Prior to Covid, Geoffrey’s primary role was in Corporate Entertainment where he had etched out a very successful career as an event MC, Host, Facilitator, Entertainer and director of Company Conferences and Awards Ceremonies. With the latest changes to restrictions, he is hoping the market will soon return to bigger and better events sadly missing over the last 2 years. |
